Hello, my name is Solveig Meyer. I am an artist from the Midwest and am currently based in Texas. I began my career at only 15 years old assisting my mother, a professional mural artist, at the Minnesota State Fair. I was later hired to do independent work. I am in the process of advancing my career as both a mural artist and an oil painter.
I have been painting since i could hold a brush. My style in oils is unique and evolving. I also do commissioned work. I have had my art place highly in multiple art competitions across the Midwest, including Concordia's Top 100 contest, the Saint Paul Artfest, and the Freshwater Society's Water is Life contest. My art was also displayed in Saint Paul's highly rated gallery "Artist Mercantile." I am continuing to expand my career in art and am working on numerous pieces.
